German Shepherd Puppy reservations are taken on a first come basis. The required deposit is $500 for puppies priced at or below $2500, $1000 for puppies priced greater than $2500, and $1500 for "import" puppies. The deposit is non-refundable unless we cannot provide a healthy puppy. All payments, including shipping expenses, must be paid and clear our bank prior to shipping.
Waldhaus Shepherds (Seller) will only ship after a satisfactory Veterinarian exam with all shots current. The Buyer is required to take puppy to a licensed Veterinarian within 72 hours after arrival for a good health exam.
Seller warrants the puppy for 12 months to be free of genetic disease that would cause crippling disability or death.
Buyer is required to provide proper care for the puppy and follow Sellers guidelines as to food, supplements, appropriate exercise and training and socialization. Proper care includes appropriate Veterinarian services including but not limited to regular shots, heartworm prevention and parasite/worm control.
Seller warrants the hips to OFA or "a" stamp certification standards. The certification must be done by 26 months old. The Buyer is required to have a licensed Veterinarian take and submit preliminary x-rays to the OFA for evaluation of the puppy between 6 and 7 months of age. The x-rays and certification is at the Buyer's expense.
Buyer agrees not to breed female puppies prior to 24 months of age and not prior to receiving OFA or "a" stamp certification or else the Seller will not warrant the hips.
Buyer agrees puppies purchased as pet/companions on limited registration basis must spay or neuter by 16 months of age.
Seller will supply paperwork required for AKC registration and Buyer agrees to have puppy registered with Seller supplied name in the form; _______ von Waldhaus.
Seller agrees that if, for any reason, the buyer is unable to keep the dog/puppy at any point up to 18 months old, the Seller has first rights to taking back the dog/puppy. If the Buyer at any time up to 18 months old declines to keep said dog/puppy, the Seller is not obligated to refund any of the purchase price.
Seller agrees, if Buyer has met his/her responsibilities stated above and the puppy has developed any of the stated defects, to replace the puppy with one of equal value of the purchased amount and same sex from the next available litter. If there is a price difference between the litters or the chosen replacement puppy, the difference must be paid by the Buyer. Shipping expense is the Buyer’s responsibility.
Buyer agrees that this warranty is null and void if he/she does not comply with the written requirements stated above.
Buyer and Seller agree that the puppy is being sold as a pet/family companion and that there are no other warranties expressed or implied other then those stated herein. Buyer and Seller agree this agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Florida.in the county of Polk.
